Christina
Milligan is an Auckland-based producer, writer and script
consultant. She is currently developing a slate of dramas and documentaries for New Zealand and internaitonal audiences.
Her producing credits range from the award-winning feature The
End of the Golden Weather to the iconic soap-satire Gloss to
the childrens sci-fi series P.E.T. Detectives. She has
written for a number of prime-time drama series including McLeods
Daughters and has script-edited hundreds of hours of drama including
the International Emmy finalist Hanlon.
Christina has served on the Boards of the New Zealand Film Commission
and Women in Film and Television, and chaired the NZFC Short Film Committee.
She is a script and industry advisor to a number of organizations including television funder NZ On Air, and is currently mentoring young producers on behalf of WIFT Auckland.
Together with Dr Patu Hohepa and Rawiri Paratene, she is currently
writing the feature Whiria, a story of love and war set in
pre-European New Zealand.
She and Rawiri are also working with Roger Grant as executive
producers of Shorts Conbrio, EPing short films financed
by the New Zealand Film Commission.
